Problem is that they have a totally different fan base in US. Think it was the athletic that did a podcast and they have invested in the area and have better media relations so i think it would just get lost and unrecognised.

If they were uk based it would have been so much easier. They get free rein in the US

United have double the revenue of clubs like Villa. That’s why we can spend what we spend, wether we can afford it or not is a different matter 😂

When I was growing up it was just speculated how much the club had to spend ie 30/40/50m and then you just added deducted based on buys and sales. So much more complicated now

Just think it means the cost of the transfer to the business accounts is spread over 5 years so delap works out as £6m a year which is a bargain for him I think. But obv the amount of players chelsea signing will soon add up

Taking to my mates about the benefit of this from both sides? He must have significant bonuses and yearly increases to warrant that! What do Chelsea get out of it now the psr is 5 year max? Imagine if we had sancho Anthony and rashford all with 8 years left 😂😂

I don’t feel like it was United pull that let us down. When it’s down to a Choice of two premier clubs and i guess Chelsea just ticked a few more boxes

20+ goals is enough for him to be golden boot winner in 10 seasons of prem. I’d take that 😂😂

5years max for the psr since start of season. Regardless of contracts been over 5years

Oh what. That would be decent for them, probably on 10 year contract until he’s in his 40’s

I fell like we conceded more goals from individual errors or concentration than from systems

How do you play in the final third if you don’t want to pass to your striker. You ever play fifa as a kid and try to win with only scoring with either yourself as a player or as a striker you want to score all goals with. Impossible 😂😂
comment in response to

We wouldn’t of been 15th if we had a 20 goal striker
comment in response to
post
The main reason it’s not working is because our main striker couldn’t score for shit. Imagine if we had a striker who was performing above his Xg. We would be taking more chances getting the ball to him and look a lot more positive in final 3rd.

I think it’s all down to the release fee. They are paying the same amount of money for a young English striker who’s scored 10+ goals in his first season for a relegated team that we have done for a even younger unproven LWB who’d never played in the prem before.

PSR rules say the cost can only be spread over 5 years max regardless of contract length
