Misleading on occasion yet I don't see your representation here as a lie........PS - What kind of cake? 😊

Occasionally you drive me crazy, I'll miss that until your return.

Calling up 2 regiments for 7x24 security is just another distraction tactic. Fairly effective one too. Instead of talking about the budget bill, international relations or what tarrifs will do to the ecomony we're spinning our wheels on this.

Not sure if I agree. To me "all in" is the same as "do or die", we accept the risk of losing everything we have in hopes of winning/keeping the heart of a lifelong companion. Perhaps your statement depends on the tense of losing? It you mean after a relationship is already over you're right.

Perhaps it is, on the other hand karma happens. That same week my now-ex-wife was invitated by mail from a local retirement community to a lunch for "future customers". Since it was addressed to her only & we were 40 I decided to hang it on the fridge.....lol...life happens. 😇

First, I am not a Rep & loathe one party government. I live in a 4ever Blue state & the locals aren't complaining about Trump. Problem is the Dems still don't appeal the majority of people. Somehow they need to find leaders that appeal to voters. Until that happens things will be unpleasant.

Apologies. Not bold in that sense although I was afraid of being rude...Have gone through years as a singe often-broke father. Took me awhile to figure out how to cook quickly, at a lower expense than using the oven. Had hoped to save you that time. BUT I didn't know your space was so tight.Sorry

Not a potato salad dude but lovd cooking. Maybe try to adding a toaster oven to your process? You can kick ass with one of these and a single burner.

Everyone of us will see you differently. For me you're not a love or stink kind. You aren't violent so wouldn't be a mantis. I'd draw you as a dragonfly. Someone (Or thing) that brings prosperity, strength, peace, purity, courage, and harmony.

Welcome to the club! While I once had better than 20/20 vision I went through the same thing a few years ago. When I asked the doc if this temporary he laughed and said, "No. This is definitely a birthday related problem". Happy you no longer need a pair for distance vision.

Coping skills vary. I do hate when that happens. Think of it as a sine wave that goes up and down. When reading doesn't work, maybe garden, fish, write, pursue a hobby or even bike a little.

Not profittable. Covert intel is actually fairly boring to an observer. Field agents are smart as hell, kept isolated to their assignments and look as average as possible. Why? Because its hard to describe the actions of a person that appears similar to everyone else.

I didn't know you had asthma too. The first time I had covid it was miserable. After that I was just exhausted during the infection. Please ask to your doc about high risk factors also your county's health department may offer boosters at a discounted rate.

You do it well. Single parenthood can be like that. After awhile we take on the mindset that its just us & the kids. We tend to just roll with everything else that happens. When yours are a little older things may surprise you in a good way. The baby & toddler years were the hardest for me.

It happens to all of us. Please don't sweat it. Sometimes are bod just switch to "on"...Thats the whole reason I bought a kindle years ago. Just so I could read when up at 3:00 without waking anyone else.

Creative in what way? When hitting a wall go out for most of one day then when you wake up the next morning try to describe a portion of that day in art, music or words.

Just wait.......One day you'll catch yourself saying, " I am too old for this shit.".....Then ten minutes later you'll think "WTF did I just say?"....The beat goes on.

Maturity is knowing that every one of us is flawed and often broken inside. The point is to recognize how each individual does or does not try to make things better....

Agreed. Bigotry of that kind was much worse in the 80s. I started growing past that when I was 18 yet its been a steady, often gradual, progression towards acceptance for most of our country.

You'll get used to it as you travel more often. Why? Because even if you stayed in one town your true friends and family don't go to work with you yet you know they're always part of your life. Sort of a foundation waiting for your return.

Not sure if your statement accurate. Media attention and opinions are usually about money. I'm 100% Irish and have family there but when things go wrong politically in that country I consider it none of my business.

IF you ever have the chance. Try spending a long weekend in Sarasota, walk the shops, go to a a few dinner theaters and cafe's. Sometime it will feel like your in an episode of Twin Peaks. PS - Don't go in Jan or Feb

Look at how Marius, Sulla, Napoleon, Hitler, Hussein and others seized power in Republics. As for your statement about people and power, the wanna be dictators use that line too. Question is where? Which country with a population over 80M will bother to lead? Who would follow them?

Been doing it since March 2003....I didn't know it could heal until I lost everything years later and then read that tragedy developed after my severe tbi, in my journal. One other rule - Never let family or your dates read that blog. Privacy gives the freedom to write things in detail.

We've talked about this before. Writing is theapuetic and a handy tool to have around. Maybe try diverging. Keep a blog on another site ( dreamwidth or wordpress), make the visibiilty friends only, no fans, never post pics or state your real name there. Give it time to become valuable to you.

I think you're mostly correct however please don't forget how much the propaganda machine ( Fox news and radio talk shows) has the majority of American's loathing the left. They think most of the EU are affluent useless doormats. Until the Dems get charasmatic leadership. This will continue.
