We stopped at Barack Obama Plaza (petrol station with restaurants) while we were in Ireland this March. Quite nice for a gas station.

Judging by the 2-3 seating configuration this is either first class or a small regional jet (not enough range for a 10 hour flight), I would take any of window seats. First class seats on most modern 10 hour flights have enough privacy you wouldn’t be able to talk to your neighbor anyway.

Those must be CA prices, gas around $3.00/gallon in my area (Tampa, FL)

If Subaru still made the Baja, that is what I probably would have gone with. I wanted the ride comfort of a car, but with a small truck bed. IMO the Santa Cruz delivers on the ride comfort better than the Ridgeline or the Maverick, but that is subjective.

Also, one think I dislike about the back seat of the Santa Cruz is that on my trim level there are no rear seat A/C vents and the center arm rest doesn’t flip down. I think you have to go to the Limited trim level to get those features. But the did do a refresh for ‘25 that might have fixed those.

Rear legroom is minimal in both Ford and Hyundai, but same with the larger Honda Ridgeline. My previous car was a VW Passat with miles of room in the back seat. Def one of my dislikes about it.

Also, Hyundai has their superior warranty.

I’ve had my ‘24 Santa Cruz Night for a year now, and I am a big fan. I enjoy the built in trunk in the utility bed that is not available on the Maverick. It can tow up to 5k lbs and feels more like a car. If you are not planning on towing and want better MPG’s, the Ford is superior on that front.

They give you “Taters for out of staters” if you aren’t from Idaho (a box of dehydrated hashbrowns).

I had the fortune to see him Tuesday in Clearwater, this show was actually with the 400 Unit and not just a solo show. IMO, he is America’s greatest living songwriter (previously I would have given that honor to John Prine).

My code was giving an error message for a while, but eventually worked. $65 for cheap seats, good luck with that.
