Oddly enough, the local branches get to pick what services they offer. Some still do paper Triptiks, some only do unmarked paper maps, and some do digital only.
The online Triptik service does a pretty respectable printable PDF! Not as good as the old hand-made ones, though.

IDK, it’s a reasonable question from a kid! Just because they don’t know doesn’t mean they can’t cope; I bet if you handed them a folding map, they’d go “weird” but figure it out soon enough.

This calls out a good point — one of the worst parts of Shorts/Reels/etc is that they almost inevitably pad themselves out to get better “seconds watched” metrics, instead of getting to the goddamned point
I wouldn’t mind the format if it was just “here’s something cool in 15sec, have 45sec back!”
