my lgs is forcing it to work, and not in the way LSS probably intended 😬 top 3 at armory get a pack, then first 8 to sign up for the weekly win-a-box that the owner has been trying to pump up get a pack

getting paid obv helps but it's also just a very rewarding experience for me personally

It's up to the judge to work out the exact compensation terms with the shop/TO they're working with, but yeah. The promos and stuff are a gift from LSS, we're basically a trained contractor/employee when judging and that deserve compensation from the people we're working for

judging events is largely funding it for me

so under the new gem pack system they sort of can. Only one event per week can be designated as an armory, but they can use gem packs to help support non-armory events. They are *supposed* to favor armory though. The secondary events also contribute to gem pack distribution stats

Open to alternatives I don't need to pay for or host myself. Works very easily with my google sheet that holds the data from my google form 🤷

Got it on :)

FaB x MTG crossover confirmed 😔

never

please no, it can't end like this for me

What I mean is, at the current price point I don't think it does well without appealing to existing players, and at a cheaper price point it still might not do well as seen by shops with unused pre-mst blitz deck stock
comment in response to post
I think supply is definitely something they could do better for armory decks, but no new cards means they're basically committing that product to new, non-guaranteed customers instead of the franchised players or shops that will buy for the new cards

There's a good FaB feed that I rarely bother leaving

bravo, kayo, dash IE, fai, dori/uzuri/Mario for someone really wanting to be tricky

Definitely something I've been meaning to look into. I was able to fairly easily toss the data into a google map, though the data needs a bit of polish still

presumably a response to cindra meta

Missed Trigger policy clearly states players are responsible for their own triggers, as long as the opponent isn't rushing them past windows to acknowledge and handle them (which falls under rule sharking) there isn't an issue in the eyes of the PPG
comment in response to post
can't believe you'd ruin those beautiful cards
comment in response to post
zero gauge doing ok tho

I like that I can get NFs of them because humidity is real wacky for me

Congrats!

My understanding is that it's from an anime tcg player, and look at what is being considered "balanced"
comment in response to post
This list is so severely biased

game good

receiving end: go ahead and destroy arsenal and discard sending: internally screaming about triggers while my opponent thinks (even before this weekend)
comment in response to post
honestly, enigma is kind of what I was expecting after dyn put so much spectral shield and ward stuff into the game but now idk
comment in response to post
There's a certain point through the explanation of bonds where everyone's eyes glaze over
comment in response to post
tcgplayer/cardmarket are the usual go tos for us/eu, what are you trying to price?
comment in response to post
My regular shops didn't get one either, I wonder if they're trying to give shops that they've been skipping a chance. Judging at one for a shop that had 1 event 3 years ago and I've never seen pop up on event locator since

fire vein turns on by playing a draconic card on the attack's chain link meaning you need to play something during that specific attack. Quicksilver gets turned on by fulfilling fire vein's condition, if you are on 2 fire veins you need to turn them each on individually
comment in response to post
think quicksilver is probably the way to go without seeing more draconic instants/attack reactions, if builds end up being dagger-dagger-attack it's easier on your fealty if we don't need to make 2 things draconic per turn

scg won't do their own coverage and Ethan's done trying to get resources together to go do it with minimal, if any, support from them

were you running it as blitz or cc?

Not everyone can participate in (or even attend) the one world premiere for each set

RF Library I opened from my first pack of FaB, had a local get it signed at the first PT
comment in response to post
Well, we also have on play effects lol. I mentally lump attack triggers in with etbs (thing has resolve and is now in play doing stuff)
comment in response to post
I'm sure someone has tinkered with it (see other reply :P) but I feel like we need a few more sets for some classes to be able to have the density of good cards to run over multiple colors (depending on how you write the rules, mech only getting 1 or 3 zero to sixty for example)

from the thumbnail it looks like you're winning to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
