Ahh I see. How did you achieve the ink like quality digitally? Was it a default brush in ps, a custom one you made, or in like a brush pack on gumroad?

You’re welcome. Showed it too a friend and she put the experience well “it feels somehow emotionally familiar.”
I see I see, and no worries, I appreciate the response.

Ah I see. Last question, the brush. It appears from the linework to be a monoline type brush, with some minor pen pressure, with a dry ink type texture. Is that custom, default, or could a curious party purchase that somewhere on the interweb

I noticed in a lot of pieces like this and even you’re colored ones, you stick mainly with dropped shadows, or hatched texture(dunno else how to describe) to show form, which is gorgeous. But was this just a stylistic choice you like for your work, or do you find it helps with something specific?

I’ve come back this piece several times. I don’t know the story but I want to. Did you do this all one layer? About how long? You wouldn’t happen to have recorded this would you?

I really like the end result on your sketchbook stuff . What’s the process on these? Lay down the sketch in red/blue then ink over? Essentially?
