Gillibrand beat the drum to have Al Franken evicted without a hearing in front of the ethics committee. He asked for justice. She denied him. Many of the senators who sided with her later regretted their hasty action. She and Chuck Schumer led the unjust removal of one of the Dem’s strongest voices.
