Definitely the law is more complex than I'm going to make it out to be but afaik, it's not enough to just prove someone said something false and you need to prove they said it with malicious intent (and potentially caused damage to you/your reputation?). Complicated since it varies by state as well.

You are not fat - people aren't just being nice to you. Your BMI is in the healthy range at 5'3" & 130 lbs. You look great!
