They just want to cynically broaden their audience, although I do appreciate they're trying to be responsive to their own idiotic choice.

I hope he meets the same fate as other Kennedy family members soon - maybe in a ditch at a wellness farm? :)

I'm truly sorry this interferes with your cynical ploy to use this to grow your show to a larger American audience, but it's rank cowardice and you should be deeply ashamed.

Imagine I posed a similar question and asked how you'd like to be assaulted: kicking or punching? Would you want to debate the method or would you reject the premise of the question? In other words, GET FUCKED.

I'm guessing they are considering a half-baked plan to create pretext using for "computer fraud" for only having paper ballots at controlled voting locations.

Presumably this is the Bezos play.

I thought it was your new Michael Mann filmography pod.

Once you put on the s Swastika, you don't get to take it off. I hope he gets bird flu and shits himself to death at Mar A Lago.

"Nothing wrong with having a beer with your friend" says JD Vance whom almost certainly has never done that and may not know how to open a beer bottle.

Overly simple but... they all want safe spaces: build/buy media and compounds, quell free speech. They're loser dorks who rolled snake eyes a bunch of times in the game of capitalism but they can never shake feeling like a loser dork that didn't make their dad proud or fit in with the cool kids.

Also, Mogilny defected bravely *from* a failing petro state, not *to* one. Complete opposites!

MAGA chud who ran back to America as soon as King CHUD was elected?

Would also love to examine this Kyle Tucker vs Vlad comparison that Arden made. Aside from the age difference, why on earth would Tucker sign in Toronto? This isn't really relevant - or, hey, sign both and maybe people would watch the product (a novel concept...)

Great convo, but... and I mean this with all due respect, are you not allowed to talk about Rogers as an entity/owner? They're the ones that invested in the stadium and own omni-channel media rights and are now juggling chainsaws to defer some small financial risk. That deserves consideration.

That's what I'm curious about. I know they'd never admit it, but November 2024 as the breaking point is quite a coincidence...

The more it permeates the Canadian culture, the more people understand what Pierre Poilievre's IDU-influenced rot wants to do in Canada, which is why he's been running a 2015 Trump campaign. This is a potential gift to future generations.

Has anyone asked JT or Allvin why November 2024 was the turning point for JT or why he was so uncomfortable with his teammates from say August 2024 to November 2024?

I wonder if the DOD will come back to Hegseth with the amount they could save by ending any defense contract related to Elon. That would probably get some attention -- 9-5 Pete might get called out of happy hour

Trump would probably call the Canucks logo "DEI"

That's a step too far. I'd prefer he go repeat this sentiment to some Canadian Forces members at a private event.

He's going to get crushed and claim it was intentional to support annexation...

Hockey is full of fascist shitheads.

Any thoughts or going pure stenography on this one? :)

Thanks to Chris Jonhston, chief stenographer and crypto shithead. Hope he breaks his ankle :)

2) Hockey media sucks and I'm done calling them media until they decide to grow up. There are like 2 adults even allowed in the room and any one else serious has been left aside. It's Hockey Entertainment, not media. They are not serious people.

I don't want to come over the top rope with a bigger take, but I've had a hard time paying much focus (time or $) to hockey since they crumbled on even their milquetoast "hockey is for everyone" program. Fuck 'em all.

Bird flu is gonna take him down and the right will claim it was a plot.

Fuck America. I hope they ask every one of them about their king :)

I think they realized they can't win on anything except hate and thought 2015 IDU influenced "[COUNTRY] first" is the only way to win. They're going to keep spinning.
comment in response to post
Predictably, the Cons floundered for a few weeks (!!) trying to find a new message that wasn't implicitly about hate (Trudeau, elites, immigrants) and have given up and gone with a "Canada First" mantra that is almost identical to Trump 2015. They must realize they can't win without Maple MAGA.
comment in response to post
When Canadians saw the unfettered western conservative mindset that is the natural end product of IDU-influenced rot, it also absolutely tanked the Canadian Conservative Party's polling, which looked like it would be a supermajority before Trudeau resigned.

Sooner than later, hopefully.
