Controversies like this one are a bleak reminder that some gamers, do not use gaming as a way to understand different narratives through character. Instead I find a large portion of gamers like to escape into a fantasy world, one where apparently it’s a safe space away from gays and women?

I’m ugly laughing at the idea of Matt Gaetz allegations coming to light, only for him to NOT be appointed as Attorney General. All risk and no reward. Trump is deplorable but I will never get tired of how he makes fools of the entire Republican Party 🤣

Games like Baldurs Gate and The Sims have features that let you customize your characters gender, but still allow for you to fall into the gender binary if you choose not to interact with those concepts, yet people still get upset at those features. Don’t like it, don’t interact with it? Novel idea.
