Your framing is completely bizarre. It isn’t on voters to be obliged to vote for a candidate. A candidate campaigns for votes. The Dems took massive voting blocs for granted this election, and who is to blame for that? Keep this framing, watch the Dems never win a single election going forward.

They didn’t show up because Biden duped student loan recipients with aid, knowing full well he wasn’t able to deliver. They didn’t show up because Biden played patty cakes with republicans when he could have enshrined women’s reproductive rights. We didn’t even have a primary to pick her to begin.

They didn’t show up because Harris cozied up to the right wing on immigration. They didn’t show up because they increasingly adopted conservative framing while taking large donations from the wealthy. They didn’t show up because the Democratic Party would rather self destruct than cede their power.

This sort of situation sucks. Because something as banal as shaking someone’s hand is a controversial act. He knew that shaking her hand would lead to being tormented by the lunatics on the right. MAGA is a pitchfork wielding mob. It reminds me of Frankenstein, MAGA is a creation that took over.

Why do you think this is? Amongst libertarians and anarchists it’s more widely discussed. I was looking into Vaush’s controversies before I saw this post, and it’s peculiar. It’s almost as if for some people stateless society serves the end goal of pentaphilia.

I’d argue there is a cross section with NIMBY zoning and maintaining rental prices. For instance if I was renting out a single family unit, I’d more than likely be NIMBY as a function of trying to maintain the value of my unit. Same for corporations renting single family. Not so much for apt blocks.

Oh alright. We are speaking the same language. I do agree the main issue is zoning, much of the homeless problems that California experiences is a direct consequence of low density zoning. That contrasted with New York which has more high density zoning, has a much better grip on homelessness.

Maybe this is threshed out over the course of the blocked conversation but why wouldn’t increasing the supply of units reduce the prices?
