Because she was right. There are certain ones missing. 11-27. It just happens to make sense if you are attempting to look at it somewhat objectively. Like I’ve been saying, we have a thousand other things to hate the guy for, this one just seems silly.

From what I understand it does only have amendments 1-10. Are you seeing something different? That’s the whole reason that I argued that it wasn’t cherry picking in the first place.

Because its pretty standard listing the first through tenth. Also, because people who would buy a trump bible could give a shit about any amendments beyond the second. But also there are a thousand other places to find racism and sexism in the cracks of Trumps orange make-up. This seems the weakest.

Again, the bill of rights is a thing. Like I said, we need to be honest regardless of our hate for the right. You go into half of middle school or high school social studies classes you’ll see the bill of rights taped to the wall as a poster.

The conversations and dialogue that is being had in social media is all in bad faith. The conversations don’t have any value. You can’t fight misinformation with facts because these people are convinced that all facts are misinformation.

Oh my bad. Didn’t realize you were talking about a 4 star… to be fair recently it’s ranged significantly in rank. Lloyd Austin was a 4 star, Esper a Lt Colonel, Mattis a 4 star, Carter a “Lieutenant” (navy O-3), Chuck Hagel was a damn sergeant (lol). Think this is the first Sec Def rank matters.

This guy was pretty far off. It goes: Major, Lt Colonel, Colonel, Brig General. You were close enough. The issue is the difference in responsibility between a Major and a Brigadier General is immense. In the Nat’l Guard there is usually only 1 general for the entire state. Majors are a dime a dozen.

He left the national guard as a Major. At captain (the rank before Major) he would have had 100-150 Soldiers under his command (generally). At Major, your usually a staff officer or the battalion XO. So at most he would’ve been the second in command for 400-800 soldiers.

100% western Europe is exactly like this and has been since at least 2008-ish when I went for the first time as an adult. I was using a city in the US as an example because it was my first experience with it stateside at any consistent level.

I don’t know that talking about cabinet picks is your best path forward. Not extreme is a wild thing descriptor for his current cabinet picks with Marco Rubio being the least fringe choice. Gaetz, Tulsi, Hegseth, and RFK are the opposite of what all of those seats need.

“Spin further from one side to the other” Biden was never some far left progressive. Biden got more bipartisan legislation passed than any president in decades. Biden made it a point to try to find a middle ground. The election cycle is actually bouncing from center left to far right.

Visited Portland recently and noticed that every bathroom in every restaurant was private with either a sink in the stall or a co-ed hand washing area. Stalls were all private rooms floor to ceiling. The entire removal of the male/female restrooms with the 3 inch gaps between doors is the solution.

Reddit’s been great still from what I’ve seen. I just don’t go into the right wing strongholds on there. Morons get downvoted to hell.

It must work because that is how Trump got elected. Anecdotal, but my coworkers get all of their news from memes and TikTok from listening to them talk. They’re convinced Kamala couldn’t talk, Trump is an American hero, insert additional right propaganda. The right just does social media better.

If you don’t educate the uneducated, then who will? I’m not sure what you’re attempting to achieve with this statement. Sure, there are ways to correct people positively but most of those we debate are arguing in bad faith anyway so the conversation was never going to go anywhere.

It will be interesting if people start to continuously file state charges rather than fed to avoid pardons in high profile cases the next 4 years.

I would agree with you if there were any other amendments outside the bill of rights in there, but there aren’t. There are plenty of other things to focus on without make disingenuous arguments. He’s a shitty grifter shucking bibles to his followers, but this isn’t the argument you think it is.
