Uni's name literally just means "dream"/ "sleep" in Finnish. Naming characters has never been a strength of mine (but I love her name anyway)
Both the dragon form's horn and the fox form's key are inspired by things from my childhood

The world Uni lives in is one that's constantly and actively shaped by dreams and nightmares. But despite that, being able to dive inside dreams while awake is not common at all
Uni is one of the rare few who can do that

Uni's dragon form's horn is her fox form's key, that's why they can both change shape!
Her horn is basically enchanted and, in its key form, protects Uni when she's exploring dreams. It keeps her connected to just one dream at a time!
(Many dreams overlapping can be very dangerous)
