My three year old today was singing his own version of 'the wheels on the bus ' about 'the creature on the bus' and the various people trying to get the creature off the bus. Not going to sleep tonight 😬

Playing John Company 2nd Ed with friends tomorrow for the first time. Looks intense! Hoping to make some wild deals and sink the company, but I'm definitely not to grips with the rules yet. Let me know if there's an easy start you'd recommend!

also speaking of sustainability the box came without shrink just some stickers to hold it closed and this gorgeous paper bag to hold the meeples, it feels warm and incredible and i want all game companies to switch immediately

Christ. Struggling with the news today. I don't see much commentary on Bluesky so I reckon people are keeping this a happy space, but I'm just lost.

To my dear "KEEP POLITICS OUT OF BOARD GAMES" folk... Politics are innately built into many (most?) board games. Just because the games you like obfuscate or present them in a way you find palatable doesn't change that fact.

Like many of you, I used to struggle with space to store my board games. Then I poured all the components loose in to one big box. Try it today, nobody can stop you
