We had such a TBO probe at the University of Ottawa (BB/31P/1H). It was useful for doing 31P-13C[1H] HMQC measurements however there was not much interest in them at the time. u-of-o-nmr-facility.blogspot.com/2009/07/31-p...

The 1H (not the longer 13C) T1’s determine the required recycle delays used for DEPT measurements. The intensity loss in this case is due to an unusual 1H-13C coupling constant.

Is there not an “old school” MAS control unit still there with manual drive and bearing control valves? Those units always worked.

Yes. The 35Cl/37Cl isotope effects are too small to be observed in the 13C NMR spectrum of chloroform.
