Proof that cars don't spend money, people do. nyc.streetsblog.org/2025/02/27/m...

Never forget, a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users. ALL ROAD USERS. And painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all. For sharrows, it’s actually safer to NOT have them. Via @usa.streetsblog.org @nyc.streetsblog.org

Sick of car adverts that use nostalgia of childhood freedom to sell the vehicles that have stolen children’s freedom? This from @thewaroncars.bsky.social is the antidote! 👏👏👏 @playingout.bsky.social youtu.be/_0MVCyOjvtk

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the very definition of insanity.

How to turn 43: bikes, birding, and birthday cake ☺️

And how are they going to do that if they can't find a place to live?

People think that cars = freedom. How do you change their minds? You make gasoline too damn expensive. Please stop making me like Trump. I don't like the guy I didn't vote for the guy but seeing this and I'm like "good job bro."

The reason why infrastructure projects are more expensive in the USA compared to the rest of the world is because they fire the expertise in government and when they need that expertise, they hire a private firm costing 3x to 5x as much. Trump's legacy will be the bankruptcy of the USA.

This guy will replace the Koch Brothers. And while he's at it, he'll create the hell of the 15 minute city with his cars that Trump supporters fear. The best part about it, nobody is going to be owning his cars for you'll own nothing and be happy.

I wish I didn't have to say it, but the Canada Goose, aka the Cobra Chicken has officially Colonized the DFW area. Unlike their migrating cousins, they force local wildlife like Black Bellied Whistling ducks and Mallards out of local ponds. Personally I call the birds Rat Geese

Something for free is the most expensive thing of all.

I wouldn't call this guy "Amtrak Joe." If he was a supporter of Amtrak, there would be Amtrak service to Dover, DE if not to Salisbury, MD.

This is what happens when you live in a world where nobody understands that all Transportation requires welfare and always has. This could be easily solved with Fair capping. But we choose to believe in the myth that Transit has to pay for itself. aatblog210.blogspot.com/2022/12/all-...

Ignorance is bliss.

As someone who grew up in San Antonio, people in the city have always raised chickens. When I became a truck driver and rode my bicycle in other Urban areas, I wouldn't see chickens especially in places like Arkansas where I would see exactly this meme minus the people sitting outside.

There is a time consuming side quest down this alley that leads to a great reward.

This is proof that people want to ride bicycles everywhere. This is also proof that you have a crime problem and nobody wants to and doesn't know how to lock up their bicycle.

It’s almost like designing cities around cars rather than people is bad in so many ways

Always remember, if you're not driving your car, then you're not burning gasoline and ExxonMobil isn't making money off of you. Might as well say good things about your worshippers, I mean customers

What @brenttoderian.bsky.social said. Bluesky is the 2nd social media platform to surprise me by showing that an architect running a small firm in Canada’s capital can amass a following (that seems huge to me..) with great engagement; thanks for all those who follow and engage #procurement #policy

Elon Musk is going to replace the Koch Brothers.

If you want to know how to ride your bicycle in the snow. youtu.be/0BNejY1e9ik?... Practice this first, every day for the first week. Then, at least 3 times a week until April 1st. I practice this breathing technique and it's nice to look like you belong in WI when I grew up in San Antonio, TX

I've seen this first hand driving an 18 wheeler across the country. You can tell the ones who hate driving the most are the ones speeding and weaving in and out of traffic.

Remember this classic? Disney understood almost 75 years ago what too much driving (and bad suburban sprawl creating car dependancy specifically) can do to any of us. Watch “Motor Mania” from 1950, and ask yourself, are you a Mr. Walker or a Mr. Wheeler? #CarDependency #RoadRage youtu.be/mwPSIb3kt_4

Here's the BBC, praising the removal of Ebikes. This story tells me that when the BBC talks about climate change, they're full of 💩. I hear that Scotland wants to reduce their carbon footprint. This action tells me that they're not serious about it. www.bbc.com/news/article...

You laugh, but this is Elon Musk’s plan for public transit.

@riley.bsky.social, you had every right to share that information. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You also have an obligation that when you see this guy, you didn't see him. Please understand that.

He didn't fix traffic. If he did, I wouldn't have seen all this red on Google maps. I'm currently in Central time zone, so the time when this was taken, it was 4:09pm in Las Vegas Also I wish people would understand that the Boring Co is a scam just like Hyperloop.

This guy who released Citibike info didn't do anything wrong. This guy proved to me that NYPD isn't really interested in catching this guy. And the only explanation I can think of for the reason is that I bet they too are United Healthcare customers.

Oh no, what is ExxonMobil to do with six people not driving their cars?

Combien d'enfants dans la photo? ;-) Température ressentie : -15C #velomtl

It's really simple. I'm betting that a lot of NYPD officers have United Healthcare. And just like everyone else in the USA, we are not going to see him when we see him. If I do see this guy, you have to give me $5 billion dollars to tell you that I saw him.
