It's a 4,300 word polemic filled with conspiracy theories, victim blaming, disinformation, and factual inaccuracies. Just what you'd expect from the Times. It's fully in line with their editorial stance of victim blaming the LGBTQ community for its own oppression.

The real story here is that some people have so much money they can casually toss away what would be a nice retirement fund for millions of average working people on a candidate they would rather not support, just to position themselves. And people doubt there is an equality crisis?

Tbh ive always liked the strogg games, a little bit less wow factor then lovecraftian or biblical horror, but they were pretty neat, and the quake 2 remasters new levels ties it in with Quake 1 in a way i hope is actually explored in a new game some day.

My hot take is that Quake itself was practically a doom game and should have just been called doom 3 back 1996

I think romero would have made those games, but as separate entities from the doom series.
his idea for Quake 1 had you playing a super dude with a hammer who leveled down instead of up. I still wish we got that game tbh.
