At least I know for sure the signals *can* be picked up: after all, I've done that with other software on another machine. The question remains: is it a configuration issue, or obsolete dependencies? I hope to find out soon!

I've played way older games that haven't yet invented more involved view models (MoHAA for example) but they make up for that with sounds and muzzle flash so they still feel very punchy.

It's a little hard to pin down, but I think it's the way they don't move when you shoot? There's not a lot of muzzle flash visible, the guns themselves don't seem to even look like they're recoiling, and the sounds seem muted.

I'm going to play it to completion anyway, though. I didn't spend far too many pounds on all the Calls of Duty (except for a handful) just to drop it so early.
It's also VERY fascinating as a direct predecessor to Infinite Warfare.

And some of it is (likely?) unintentional; Lila's massive tits were often underlined by cutscene letterboxing.

I definitely agree that, on the whole, the Ryza trilogy wasn't as focused on looking sexy as many others did. At the same time, and maybe *because* of that, the horny shots outside the story stood out more to me.
