Maybe? If you want to send me a file and a general idea of what you need, I can try and figure it out in Affinity and then translate that into Photoshop-ese

I haven't but that looks pretty dope. I second the recommend for Blades in the Dark. I just got the playtest packet for Blades in 68 and it's sooo good. The Big Store is more about cons but it's pretty heisty. Honey Heist is super cheap. I'm sure there are more out there I'm forgetting

My intro to AP was The Jank Cast, which was much more rules focused than a lot of current shows. It was sort of jarring for me when I encountered performance centered AP later on

Marvel Avengers Alliance. The old Marvel FB game. It had the best character acquisition system, tons of minor characters, and a weirdly great Reddit community. I still think about Buff Kate Bishop, Kidnapped Dr. Doom and the other goofy in-jokes that spun out of that group.

At the most general level, I want interesting choices. I want to think back on the session and imagine where the story would have gone if we'd allied with the other faction or if we'd let the charismatic thief escape

Scéalta Beaga Games. It's the name I publish my RPGs under on itch. I figure having a company name and a logo lends me a veneer of respectability.

Not just specialists. A few years ago I decided to stop slacking and get my annual physicals. Was told I need to call an automated central schedule line. It took 5 months for someone to call back and tell me which GPs I was allowed to see.

Second for Triangle Agency. An acquaintance ran a Control based game with Monster of the Week that sounded like it was a lot of fun

It's so cool to see people finding that show. It was such a surprise from beginning to end. I think the tone mechanic is a solid starting point

For me, it's more often the back cover description or the introductory chapter that starts the dissonance. I'm not sure why but art never influences my expectation as much as text does

I've really been enjoying the stuff coming out of The Gauntlet. Brindlewood Bay, The Between, Public Access or The Silt Verses. They're PBtA based games with an interesting take on how to run mysteries without a ton of prep

I've spent some time teaching people to run games and my one take-away is that everyone's better at it than they think they will be. Also, given enough notice, we can probably con Nick, DMK or myself into running a specific thing

I mean, I got a whole-ass monthly game day up here....

Running: a bi-weekly-ish Fabula Ultima game.
Playing: a weekly Scum and Villainy game.
I also organize a monthly game day at our local library. I'm planning on bringing Spectaculars to the next one.

The player asked, 'So I'm taking a wound, right?". After thinking for a moment, the consequence I gave her was 'Kobb's lost his faith in the crew. After this, he's out.' The gasp that pulled out of Roland's player was one of my proudest moments as a GM.

In my game, Ulf was a bit of a maniac and more of a liability than an ally, but Kobb loved him anyways. Skovs stick with Skovs. After a knock down drag out fight, they managed to take out Tarvul and then turned their attention to the wounded Ulf. Roland, the crews Lurk, got a mixed success.
