Otherwise, it's good to put yourself out there! Sure, talking about what you like may draw ridicule, but tbh, there's no real way to stop that. If someone wants to find something wrong with you, they will. So, you might as well do what you like bc you'll find people who like the same stuff, too 😊💛

I usually keep it to an "elevator pitch" & maybe extra details if they become relevant, but I largely stopped caring after I hit 25 lol 😅 Basically, just watch yourself in front of/toward "authorities" (e.g. boss, teacher, parent/guardian, etc) & anyone who seems really judgemental/serious 🙂↕️

the research we do have indicates that the likelihood of developing PTSD isn't linked to the "severity" of the initial trauma as much as it is linked to the lack of processing support and emotional care in the aftermath.
If someone you know experiences trauma, be there for them.

Even during flashbacks, those with PTSD are whole human beings deserving of consent, autonomy, and free will.
Do NOT try to touch anyone having a flashback without explicit permission.
