That Charles II lookalike is a real cretin with some terrifying ideas that Elon and Thiel draw heavily on. On the bright side, at least he's getting discussed without the shitty, kids-glove approach NYT took a few months ago when they interviewed him,/I wrote this

The real criticism I have is the wastefulness, that’s a nice few bowls right there and considering those richie rich assholes, it’s probably expensive stuff

When these asshole LIE about this, then it’s the responsibility of the journalist to READ the excerpt from Project 2025 that proves they are lying! These POS’s need to be called out with PROOF at all times, whenever possible. 😡

Hard disagree. I don’t have much empathy for Elon, but I do have a lot of empathy for the victims of him and DOGE throughout the federal government and the ramifications on society.

Oh hey, I just published a bit on Thiel and his background within the hour, I'm still doing a final proofread check. Real, real nasty piece of work.

I think it'd be awesome if we had something like Murrow suggested in his RTNDA speech: networks providing informative news/documentaries as a "tithe... to indicate our belief in the value of ideas" As a kid, I thought CNN was like that. Imagine my disappointment upon moving out and getting cable.

CNN, so leftist they've been steadily shifting toward, and normalizing, the far-right for years Gotta love our American "news" media: we've got extreme right like NewsMax, far-right like Fox, and right-tilting CNN.

It’s not a programming error, he keeps a tight rein. There’s a reason apartheid’s hitler-saluting heir got mad about his “white genocide” neo nazi talking point being shut down. So he tried to surf on that to morph it into another neo nazi favorite: Holocaust denial and disputing numbers.

Xi's loving this. A few years ago, his fantasy of having the yuan replace the dollar as the world's reserve currency was completely delusional. Now, it's still far-fetched but the admin's doing its best to destabilize the dollar, lowered our credit, rattled world markets, and pushed away allies

(Fun fact: You can borrow up to 50% of the value of your 401(k), from yourself, if your employer permits it. You have to pay yourself back with interest, but *you* get the interest. This is how I'll pay for most of this.)

She's afraid of the monster she helped make, like Murkowski. But that's too fucking bad. republicans self-selected to run and were elected. Time to lead. Leading means putting yourself first on the line to protect your people. Otherwise, you're not a leader; time to step down.

Trumpism, from cronies to followers, reminds me of a Synanon doc where Chuck's 'Game' was described as breaking people down so they would become more like him as they were 'built back up.' Seeing how the GQP and Trump's followers have changed themselves to suit him is eerily similar.

Imagine if the government had said to Dan Crenshaw, "Sorry, freeloader, we aren't giving you free healthcare. Here is a spoon and a marble. Replace your own eye."

They "expec-ed -ha- i- would have -he in-egri-y of -he presiden- of -he Uni-ed S-a-es and good follow-hrough." Should've advertised it as including a free round of 'Wheel of Fortune'

Maybe it was growing up with dad playing so much Leykis, but listening to this kinda feels like a midway point between Leykis’ misogyny and today’s dog whistles in mainstream conservatism (which add in a lot of other bigotry) I only contrast Leykis cause I remember him being liberal

Gunman was a nutcase men's rights activist.misogynist who targeted Judge Salas because woman, He wanted women included in the draft, got furious, thought court took too long, blamed her, set out to murder. Tubi's 'Dateline' channel has 'The Grudge' in rotation, about this. Discussed it here a bit

Unsurprising for a dipshit who took the Oath of Office but "doesn't know" if he has to uphold the Constitution

Musk represents the worst of South Africa. While Apartheid ended, Afrikaners bombed native Africans, walked into traffic and open fired, only nation to voluntarily disarm their nukes (to prevent Africans getting them)—they got a pass to avoid "justice and ashes." Now they're back, playing victim.

*El Chapo’s son, rather

These are the people he’s bringing in. These are dangerous people running csrtels. While innocents go to camps. Last time LEO acted on El Chapo, it started a small-scale civil war. So we threw open the gates and imported him and now we get to worry about him building that capacity HERE.
