You don't want to follow me. I am a grumpy old man, who yells at clouds to get off his lawn. I don't like blue. I don't like red. I don't care about your pronouns. I don't care about who you're attracted to. I don't care who the president is or isn't.

What is this so I can stay away? The dialogue is stilted as fuck.

The vast majority of the "Wild West" era she's referring to in panel 1 occurred after the abolishment of slavery and the Civil War. Hell there were quite a few Black cowboys and lawmen with Bass Reeves being the most famous.

They're covering alot of things including a bunch of shit the moth app crowd will eat up.

I mean you can apply bits and pieces of that on every president all the way down to Wilson (and most likely beyond). You may not like Trump but he's the status quo, he's just the first the machine refuses to cover for

Kinda yeah and trying to justify it is pretty horrible.

Damn, dude was appointed by Waltz ... www.msn.com/en-in/news/w...

Shooting random people because you don't like their politics makes you as bad as the person who just hit Minnesota's politicians.

Number 1 is the big one that protestors often forget: NOT obstructing traffic or building access.

There is only one truth, the rest is opinion and bias.

This was sophomore year normal level American History. Starting to think my rural ass, dead coal town with a principal who had a successful moon shine side gig (and sold to students) school was somehow ahead of the rest of the country. Scary thought You forgot to mention she was a union spy, btw.

Question, @moderation.bsky.app did the person who called me a clown also get a "rude" auto-hide or is your group's bias showing?
comment in response to post
Yeah but the left has spent a score plus vilifying that flag.

1. Never was 2. Over rated 3. Like 95% of all politicians and business men.

While a bit more extreme than you are thinking I believe watching the original Logan's Run movie May be a good idea.

I can understand why you think 60 (despite your obviously derogatory statement) but I think it's shortsighted and cuts away a huge swath of potential talent and experience.
comment in response to post
I don't disagree but I think Trump isn't so much the best proof as confirmation of that need after Biden. Personally the cut off should be 70 (unless you're already elected than as soon as your term is up).

Id rather it fund actual national physical infrastructure (road, rail, air, and power), NASA, and the military.

Freedom means the ability to forgo the actions that your freedom allows you to take.

That is some damn nice blending.

Do you have a list of these books? I don't think I saw the Iliad listed anywhere.

Well that's stupid.

You guys who are actually good at this always make me jealous. Looks cool

Stepping stones to allow for justification of worse action. The old "give them an inch ..." situation and I've seen it play out both during my time as a full time and substitute teacher.

For IEPs it makes sense but for students without it doesn't make sense, and that is what I am talking about. Using Text to Speech for those without the accommodation need is a short cut, a "car to take them from a to b"

The worst part is the primary and secondary levels are prepping the kids for this mentality. I saw it when I was subbing last year. Kids use voice to text to write papers with no backlash. The schools make everything digital so that in 11th grade I had kids "signing" their work with print.

It's weird isn't it? Not only didn't we ban and prosecute the Confederates/KKK we allowed their political arm to remain in power to this day.

Are we returning to "Don't Ask Don't Tell", a segregated service, and women only being allowed in the Women's auxiliary? The last two lines make no sense to me unless something has happened in the last 48 hours that I don't know about.

70 ... Oh I wish I could get it that nice. My daughters have threatened coup d'etat if I ever drop it below 78.

We'll have to disagree then as to me they are a gross breach of branch limits regardless of party
comment in response to post
See above response. I don't support Trump's use of Executive Orders and I personally think the need to be extremely limited regardless of which party the President belongs to. I will however call out hypocrisy and Frm. Secretary Clinton is being a hypocrite here

I do, just not here. Seems you all don't understand there is no real difference between either party. Both are concerned with shoring up, maintaining, and growing their power. Republicans gain support through the stick and Democrats through the promise of a carrot.
comment in response to post
I should clarify: team as in the Democrats and to be clear Biden and Obama had a lot of executive orders under their belts as well.

You may have missed something. I wasn't talking about Covid.

There was actually a that came from it if you look at history. It helped erode old dark age powers forced the development of sciences and medicine, and can be linked in part for the existence of the Renaissance. So it sucks that between one and two thirds of Europe died but in the long run ...

The Crusades amaze me, especially given the Reconquista and the 1st Crusades.
