It took like a week for them to get the scent of it for me, but after a while you should start to see like hundreds em in there. If it doesn't seem to be working try making the holes bigger.

Alright so first get a big mason jar and fill it like 70% with water. Then put a good amount of fruit and jelly inside. Drop in a small amount of dish soap. Don't mix it. Put the lid on the jar and poke a bunch of holes. Place it in your room ontop of a shelf or something. 1/2

That sounds miserable. :( I've had fruitflies before and know how gross they are. If you don't mind me sharing I know a trick to get rid of them that works better than anything store-bought.
