I met with the professor and two directors today. They accused me of being irritating and unprofessional, because I pointed out their blatant hypocrisy and double standards. My department head said I was inconsiderate of her feelings, when I corrected a factual error in her opening statement.

Deutschlands Umgang mit seiner Kolonialgeschichte? Genauso peinlich halbherzig wie bei so vielem. Kaum Bewusstsein, kaum Aufarbeitung. Andere Länder zeigen in Museen und Ausstellungen mehr. Wer weiß z.B., dass in Deutsch-Südwestafrika (Namibia) der erste Genozid des 20. Jahrhunderts begann?

And subtweet... Kids more often than not would be better off with "nothing" than coercive, 19th century capitalism based public school. Kids have a natural drive to learn. Adults should just watch kids' safety and offer resources/instruction that feeds a child's curiosity.
