I am disappointed but not surprised. People with power want art to be “pretty”, not controversial, and possess a potential for profit. This is a message to artists to toe the line out else suffer the consequences. It won’t work - artists are courageous.

That figure has dropped slightly since this QI segment with Stephen Fry, but is set to rise again now that a convicted felon is in the White House.
