Retired executive with the federal public service. Full-time cyclist. Orphaned by Twitter & placed in the hands of a tyrant. Iβm here now, looking for sensible perspectives on the existential threats facing us all.

I can't be sure what's right anymore.
Black is white.
Up is down.
And 2+2=5
Trump has always been a gangster who uses repetition and hyperbole to troll those whom he perceives as a threat. A shit talker who'll be going through some shit in the not-too-distant future.

Same. Can't do it anymore. The lying is incessant. A guy with a totally punchable face.

They know the oath. They must swear it when they enlist or are commissioned. I doubt most can't remember it. It's not long.

The Russians needed an idiot with money. They found one in Trump.

In my 40+ years of voting, I have never seen a conservative move over to "our side", assuming we share the same side. The left is as intransigent as the right.
As for those who believe that Trump populism is our future, they deserve every damn bit of the mockery. Bags of hammers.

Radio Canada is top shelf. Their productions rival those from other jurisdictions. But CBC, especially the nonsense it broadcasts through cable television, is some of the worst I've seen.

In absolute terms, I consider myself of average intelligence. But compared to those who have an undying faith in a failed conservative ideology, I'm clocking Mensa.
Never underestimate the stupidity of the voter.

Imagine a world without bullies
It's easy if you try
Imagine all the people
Livin' life in peace
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday others'll join us
And the world will live as one

Among Russians, calling someone a cigarette butt is one of the worst insults. Colleagues at the KGB called Putin that very thing. I can only imagine what moniker the Russians have bestowed on Trump.

Poilievre's a real unifier, I tell ya.

I've lived in a few cities. Ottawa, by far, is the worst for its failures to address crumbling infrastructure. If not for the NCC's efforts, we'd be packing our bags and moving back east.
The City of Ottawa is a backwater. Nothing more; possibly less.

The alternative narrative always cracks me up. It's like a salve for the shit-for-brains who watch Fox.

Wow. Fun fact: dictators never step down unless there's a coup or someone slips something into their morning tea.

Absolutely disgusting false equivalencies. So happy to hear the audience hold the prick to account for his psychological projection.

It's like staring at a Thanksgiving Turkey in a supermarket deep freeze. I doubt I'll have turkey anytime soon.

Tough call on your part. But you did warn the person. I just don't get the appeal. Has the person told you why they're a Poilievre fanboy?

Seriously!? You can't make this shit up. I mean, even in my wildest dreams, I would never have predicted how two assholes could have such a negative impact on the world. It's like Mike Myers reprised his role as Doctor Evil, but without the comedy.

Norman Rockwell presaged this moment in Canadian politics.
Nothing but pulp in that cavernous space that separates Poilievre's two ears.

Canadian here. Well done! I've been waiting for these declarations. Never vow fealty to a king; especially, one owned by Russia.

Le QuΓ©bΓ©cois: always selective about which political party it will support. The province does not suffer idiots gladly.
