He didn't fully integrate into Amaurotine society and visited other areas on the star where his abilities (related to healing, elemental manipulation, shapeshifting) were leveraged. He was fond of the world and died during the final days protecting it, his soul was broken down mostly into elementals

Miraut's 'ancient' was a huge, chimerical type of being, a mutation of the soul of an earlier seat of Emmerololth. He was found in Elpis where he first emerged without explanation from the Lethe, and over time he adjusted to living among other Ancients and adopted a humanoid form!

He mostly lives in Ishgard where he works as an apothecary and alchemist, maintaining a greenhouse of poisonous and rare plants from his travels. In terms of his involvement w/the msq, the wol has him trying to figure out a way to dismantle Alexandrian soul-based technology as a whole

His extra height scaling already pushes my limits in raid as is. I couldn’t reasonably play the game scaling him any higher.

It’s ridiculous. Miraut’s height is supposed to be impressive, something that brings him unwanted attention. Other OCs in my world build with my partner exist on a height spectrum that we laid out to comfortably work with it too.
But if I take him out of this context, he’s *petite*?

When it comes to Miraut in the present day, his canonical proximity to the msq while not being a wol, and his family lineage, though? These subjects are much easier to outline in a carrd and impact him 'as-is' in regards to the FF14 plot, so I made sure to include everything I felt was important!

I'm grateful I started playing during the rollout of this expansion. I might not have stayed otherwise. Without the friends I made, without meeting my partner, without Miraut, I'd be a different person entirely. This is his home, his history, and at this point it takes up a bit of space in mine too.
