I was the one who said I quit drawing because of Drawfee. It was a fun lie for big comedic purposes. I draw every day, in fact Drawfee inspired this drawing...can you guess which episode?? bsky.app/profile/venl...

Yeah, there are many detrimental effects of AI, but the suspicion that it's added to my viewing of essentially all new art is pretty depressing.

Damn, I was one of those people. Sneaky sneaky. I guess I'm better at spotting AI than I am at spotting paintings based off of AI.

Hi. Do these fit in here? Not sure, but they're here now. And congrats on 3K.

BL3 not as good story and characters, but plenty of good action shooty pew pew. And hey, based on what I've seen so far, you've got style for days, which I've always struggled with. I've found success being an ok style generalist, but always appreciate people with real confident style chops. Cheers!

BL2 still probably holds the record for most hours I've sunk into a video game! And thanks, likewise, glad to be following you!

I just worked on BL2 DLCs, I was at a small company in the same building as Gearbox. Super lucky though, as I got to be lead concept artist on Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, and designed all the new creatures, the bad guy, boss, vehicles, enemies, and creatures. My career kinda peaked early tbh...

These span pretty much my whole career, starting with Borderlands in 2013. It's taken a mixture of concept art, illustration, graphic design, animation, texturing, and UI, but I've always managed to make a living off of creative stuff and I feel very lucky..even if I don't get to draw monsters 24/7.

It was just what happened based on the prompt "Ritual Dance." Maybe the big hands back there never move. Maybe this dancer's moves will finally elicit a reaction?

Thanks! It helps to have a prompt, which I got from the Daily Spitpaint FB group. These were Were Tiger, Queen's Soldiers, Dead Marshes, and Ritual Dance.

Thanks! I did a whole lot of them over on the Daily Spitpaint FB group. Not in a while tho! I wonder if there's something like that here on bsky...

Congrats, and cool art! Time to dive into the comments and find new people to follow, but first here's some of my 30-minute speedpaints from a while back:

Oh, big animal corpse on the beach? We should definitely blow it up. What could go wrong? Sincerely, Oregonians.

Yeah I ditched them last year after they did a bunch of layoffs and said they were using AI. I guess that wasn't enough to tarnish their "good will" so I'm doubtful this will either. Most people don't really care.

Love a good timelapse vid. Everyone goes about their art differently, and it's fun to see that play out. Dope design.

Uh no my rendering is gnarly and badass!!! Jk, I do like to draw weird, dark stuff that still looks, well, pretty 😆

Much appreciated! At this rate I should have the series done before the end of the decade...

Thanks so much! Draw every day! If you are interested in my process, I have a couple of videos on youtube, no voiceover just long and boring timelapse! www.youtube.com/@Venishi

It came from a dream where I was in a cabin and looked out to see the moon repeated in a perfect ting all across the horizon. The series explores the dark ritual that might cause the moon to be in such a strange and apocalyptic formation. Mostly it's an excuse to draw weird stuff.....

Thanks for hosting! Seriously like half my follow list is from artshares at this point.
Here are four pieces from a long ongoing personal project, along with an image I made showing my progress so far. Started in the pandemic, seven down, six left to go!
