I've been a World War II Guy (TM) since elementary school. The more I read about D-Day, the more I realize how absolutely insane the landings were. 156,000 Allied soldiers were involved in the landings and they were assisted by 6,939 naval vessels which, in turn, were manned by 195,700 people.
