Life is a journey, not a destination. Also, I play too many video games, read too many books and have an unhealthy obsession with understanding human nature by reading the utterly insane stories spun out of our real history.

Bought some JP magic the gathering boosters because having some of these cards in Japanese feels...right somehow. Got a fair number that are clearly highly valued collector's items to others that I'll eventually sell in the future because they aren't worth that much to me. But keeping several others

I'm such a mark. Barely played Magic the Gathering for over a literal decade. Have bought multiple collector boosters over the past few days hunting for my favorite characters. Sigh.

Holy shit holy shit this looks so good.

Dune Awakening has been a lot of fun so far.

Just having a blast recently. Here's some screenshot spam.

It's gotten a lot of well earned...skepticism over the years, for delays, bugs and its monetization - but damn if Star Citizen isn't firing on all cylinders right now.

Damn was Andor season 2 good. Not "good for Star Wars", just top tier television period.

Lots of people have expressed their support for our independent, data-driven political journalism outlet. Attaching some of their kind words here. Very humbling! Still, we are only at about 10% of what we need to start up. Additional support very appreciated: gelliottmorris.substack.com/subscribe/

Monster hunter wilds is a blast.

I tend to try to be an optimist. And I try not to post a bunch about politics or whatever. But this makes me physically ill.

Some idle musing. But in an age of increasing AI slop masquerading as "content", I can see a massive increase in the value of live performances and engagement with real human streamers, writers etc happening. Much like how post-pandemic, people desperately have sought in person events/experiences.

DanDaDan hits deep and hard. It's all "funny haha weird kooky anime" then it sticks the knife in with an absolutely brutal story about a mother and her child that is...just perfectly animated and told. This is a must watch show.
