Please don't minimize the harm these corporations have on their own longevity, the harm they inflict on their own stores, the harm towards the wellbeing of their employees in favor of manager bonuses.
It's an insult to only attribute this to the private equity firm.

So yes, JOANN was bought by a liquidator known for destroying businesses.
But JOANN ran their business HORRIBLY and are fully responsible for their decline in business by using horrible business practice, because corporate never knows how to actually run a store.

Plus there's a HUGE rumor that a bunch of managers paid themselves out a large sum in christmas bonuses knowing the stores were closing.
Associates weren't informed of the sale and lay off until a few days before the auction date this month. Still no word on how long they have their jobs.

Verbally and mentally abusive store managers, the district managers never do ANYTHING to help out a struggling store and instead pushed the store manager to keep up bad routine for the bonuses payout.
Only part time employees, lucky to get 6 hours a week.

And for the record, 2 of those 5 hours were used to unload the weekly truck, leaving only 3 scheduled hours for unboxing which is not enough time at all.
Incompetent store managers were in place, who think they know better than the employees actually doing their jobs and refused to take feedback
