Are they original Epic miniatures? Sweet. I really wish my old stuff wasn’t in some landfill somewhere :(

As an agnostic, I'm ok with folks hedging their bets, why not. Isn't forgiveness a very Jesus type move? Forgive us all, if it's real.

Same, the year I got a megadrive I got Sonic 1 and 2. Think I accidentally cartridge wiped Sonic 1 so Sonic 2 saved my life

I don't think SDs long term strategy is a bad one. Staying in opposition for another while, letting the likes of Labour go in to Govt. again, hiving off more of their support to grow larger. Then into govt as a bigger party. The GP want to get policies enacted. The environment can't wait.

This is purely based on Manifestos. A small amount of which have any chance of being realised, a reality for small parties going into govt. This is why a fair amount of people left the Green Party directly after the pfg was agreed last time. Politics is compromise, unless you have absolute majority

@waynegibbons.bsky.social you're not wrong. It's going to be a rough time for the Greens. But they need all the first prefs they can get. This is the price to be paid for minority govt. partners unfortunately. I'm not convinced the Soc Dems even want to go in to Govt.

It shines a light on the dearth of meaningful climate policies by the major parties.
It's all very well giving out grades for the contents of manifestos. How much of them would survive a negotiation for a programme for govt as a minor partner? I think the Green Party plans reflect that reality.

I don't think that was what the Green Party said they would do. Limit to what you can do with 12 TDs. You can't implement your entire manifesto as a minor partner. Hard decisions and compromises had to be made.

I much prefer the term 'Xiennial' the generation between Generation X and Millenials.
