I realise I'm lucky, and most of my contemporaries don't have so many.
All three of my brothers treasure these photos and the memories they recall. Our children love seeing them too.
Fourteen years later in 1973, I'm the good-looking one!

Like myself, my father was an avid photographer. I have hundreds of slides documenting my childhood.
I'm still digitising them.
Here I am in 1959, aged 2, with Mum and my newborn brother David.

It was a handy little cinema back in my Silwood days. It is definitely worth saving.

My home for the past 25 years. Having an ancient woodland, a few hundred metres away, was a major factor in our decision to move here.
Apparently, Charles Darwin used to collect on Gamlingay Heath. Unfortunately, it's cultivated land now.

Thanks for the update. I have been trying to get it to load. A few days won't matter. My records will get on there eventually.

It's not too far from me and easy to fit a quick visit in with a shopping trip to Morrisons in Cambourne. Do post if it's worth a visit.

I had the pleasure of working with him as an insect consultant when he was filming at Kew in 2017. One of the biggest honours of my life, a true hero.
Happy Birthday, Sir David Attenborough.
