My daughter works for a USPS distribution center. DeJoy needed to go. They already shut down different distribution centers and have overloaded and overworked the ones that are still processing mail.

I havenāt been back to Twitter since the day Trump was elected. I think most of the Blue dots moved over here. Let them tell their lies to each other on that site. I canāt stand to read or see the hypocrisy any longer.

My niece is a CPA who speaks 5 languages and has done their tax returns for years. I try to spread the word that immigrants pay taxes yet are not eligible for benefits. They do our hardest dirtiest jobs, pay taxes, and most cause no trouble. Itās really sad for them and us what is happening.

I figured it will take me until Iām 78 just to receive back what was paid in on my behalf. I doubt I live that long. My old boss paid in max his entire life and then died at 62. Whereās the $. I think Medicare/Medicaid runs short because of health costs, but maybe we should have better healthcare.

At least you are allowed to disagree. Rs donāt allow that. You either kiss Trumpās ass or youāre of no value. Iām Ind, but my beliefs far more align with Dems. I donāt believe trans individuals should compete in sports, but I donāt abandon everything else I believe because Dems donāt agree with me.

My daughter works nights for the USPS as a manager in a distribution center. Theyāve already closed down other distribution centers until the load at hers is so heavy she can rarely get time off. She gets over 30,000 steps a night and works endlessly. They donāt need to close down more centers.

Thanks. I live in a small rural area, but we do go to Owasso and shop at Costco and Sprouts about once a month. I will look for it. š

Thatās not the right thing to do and I think you know it. We are heading for a recession regardless, and now you turn your back on folks depending on you to stand firm. They are going to destroy our country while you stand in the shadows like a coward.

Back in my day immigrants would buy SS #s to be able to work. They werenāt fake, they usually belonged to babies born here and then parents returned to Mexico, etc. Thing is when they worked SS was withheld and paid into but never drawn out. Even though illegal, it made the SS fund money.

It depends on how old you are what you had to go through to change SS info. When I was growing up they had SS change cards in the Post Office. You could fill them out, mail them, and get a new card in the mail. There probably is fake numbers out there, but I doubt itās anything like he claims.

Itās amazing how many people in this country are brain dead. Iām very nervous about what they will do with SS & Medicaid. Please donāt let them upend those programs. š

He isnāt negotiating. He is threatening them, and heās willing to let them fall to Russia for Putinās favor. Where do you get heās negotiating? He tried to force them into giving us their mineral rights. I thought you were better than this. I should have known better.

Who does he think he is that he can tell another country to hold an election? I havenāt been on Twitter since Trump was declared winner of the election, but when I was this man was an ugly ass petty jerk. Itās more than obvious that he and Trump both are Russian tools.

Thatās the governor of my state. Heās bad, but the Secretary of Education is even worse. Check out Ryan Walterās and his purchase of Trump Bibles for our classrooms and his creation of a Trump exec committee with school board members fired by Stitt. š„“

Theyāre doing it because Oklahoma is a big oil and gas producer. Itās always about money. And yes, there is a whole lot of stupid in this state. We are 49th in education and going downhill from there.
comment in response to

We have the same in Oklahoma. Our governor so desperately wants to give tax breaks that greatly favor his buddies and donors that he refuses proper funding to run the state. He leaves it on account so he can say, see, we have funds to give tax breaks while everything falls apart before our eyes.

I only block accounts that DM me or those that follow me and I vet to see they are trying to send pornography, or ask for money. Lots of scammers on these sites, but I would never block from a list. If I am annoyed at a resister, I just mute the thread if it keeps appearing over and over on my feed.

I automatically block anyone who DMs me. They are either scammers or at the least someone who should know better.

Iām on a managed health care plan through Medicare. I was on United Healthcare, but I had cancelled before the CEO was killed. What United did was raise all their co-payments to make up for the $35 cap on insulin. Iām ok with Medicare but I am a diabetic. They wonāt pay for Ozempic or anything.

The federal government is obligated to pay Social Security benefits because the Social Security Act requires it. You need to do more research. Now stop. Iām glad you donāt plan to draw anything. Thatās a good way not to be disappointed.

Once they pulled it out of my earnings and employers paid it to the gov, they owe it to me legally and morally. They might change that, but at this point, itās owed. I will have to draw SS for nearly 15 yrs to get mine back. I wonāt live that long.
comment in response to

Iām not arguing with your numbers. Iām still owed at least what I paid in. It doesnāt matter what they did with it once itās paid. Thatās like saying my landlord spent my rent on one of his other properties, so I have to live with the leak in the roof.

It sounds like the gov is handling the trust fund poorly. Did the gov borrow from it to the tune of 1.7 trillion? I worked more than 44 yrs and no matter how the trust fund has managed that money, I ought to be able to depend on it for my retirement. Get rid of the wage cap.
comment in response to

It doesnāt change the fact that what I paid in, plus the amount paid in by my employer, should be available for my retirement. Thousands pay in and never draw out. Iām not sure how those that are on disability at an early age balances out, but we need to take care of them one way or another anyway.

My nephew plays for Kansas State and also has a 4.0 for the last 3 years. He did the same all the way through HS. Heās just smart. While he said college was different, he figured it out. His older brother played basketball through college and did the same.

I understand that I worked for 50 years paying in more than I will ever draw out. My old boss paid in the max his entire life and then died at 62 before he ever drew a cent. What happens to that money? Perhaps it covers those that didnāt pay in as much.

I had them all as a child also. Even my kids had chicken pox. Then at the age of 19 my daughter got Shingles and still breaks out with them today 20 yrs later. Itās miserable for her. Why does anyone want to go backwards? Stupidity and selfishness.

His murder could have been totally personal, but could have also been connected to United Healthcare. They are the # 1 provider of Medicare Advantage Plans. When Biden was able to get a $35 cap on insulin, they raised all their co-payment amounts to make up their profits. Corporate greed deluxe.

I read someone in an Atlantic story saying Biden put his own feelings over country. Are you kidding me! Biden bent over backwards twisting up in a knot to put country first. Hunter should have never gone to trial. Everything is so lopsided in this country any more. Phoney virtue is all they got.
