Super pumped. Former Witcher devs are making this.

All the good vibes and hugs to you! 🤗 treat yourself today! And yes, many good things yesterday! P4 Revival, Clockwork Revolution, and Outer Worlds 2 on the top of my list.

Agreed. Also, E3 was getting super expensive to do for these publishers. It was out of hand. Sometimes you just gotta let the past go while still enjoying the memories.

We watched different showcases, but I guess different strokes for different folks.

Slowly but surely. Got Exp 33 to finish first, then back to Persona 5. I could do XI after.

And I say that still having not played 11. Maybe I’m just looking forward to a good old-fashioned JRPG.

Fair point lol. Oh, and Dragon Quest 12 would be nice too 🙌

Outer Worlds 2 is having its own direct right after the Xbox showcase, so you’re good there 😁 More Clockwork Revolution because inXile is goat. Whatever Double Fine is cooking. And is it too much to give me FF9 Remake here even though we got Tactics remaster a few days ago? 😄

Hot damn

That I can totally agree with.

The way I heard it Sony was willing to take the risk on doing a lot of these knowing a good chunk would fail. Because they figured getting at least one or two out that are successful will overcome the losses. But again, giving those tasks to teams not suited for it was their downfall.

Sold.

I see nothing wrong here. Just your gamer responsibilities.

To be fair, I get why in general they pursued the live service games. Tons of money that’s recurring to be made. They just never should have put that on studios that only know the single player games well. Like why was Bluepoint making a God of War live service game?? Poorly executed.

Work be done before you know it! Then we got more gaming shows to look forward to 😁

I’ve heard of these. Can you explain more?

Hey-ooooooooo!!!

I posted this just when they did that 30th anniversary video saying they’ll have more to announce at a later date. Before I knew they trolled us 😂

Guess you know what you’re having for dinner tonight 😂

I mean, it does depend on what you’re looking for in these shows. I personally saw only a handful of games I was interested in (RE9, Dying Light, Mortal Shell 2, Scott Pilgrim off the top of my head) so I thought the show was ok. But I do get what you mean on the haters just rage baiting too.

Oh man, I need those to go with my salmon and rice I’m eating right now

The comments had me rolling too saying Max was being like Crash Bandicoot “WHAT? WHOO? WHATTT??” 😂
comment in response to post
Yeah but you get to interact with a refrigerator at some point in the game 😂😁

It doesn’t hold your hand in a lot of places, so yeah it can make things challenging. I had to learn to divert and do some optional quests for a bit to get my levels up.

Ah, with the Doods? The minute I saw that Arc System Marvel fighting game, I immediately turned to Max’s stream. I was not disappointed 😂

FF Tactics is my spirit animal. Can’t wait! 😁

Yeah, the map design could have been better, I’ll give you that. I’d think I’m in the right place for an anomaly and it was actually the floor below me 😂

Thank you, I’m glad it wasn’t just me that saw these reactions. It’s ok if certain games aren’t for someone but to objectively say these games didn’t look good at all befuddles me.

Aw man, I really enjoyed Control. Felt like a power fantasy with all of those abilities you collect. But I get it if that’s not your vibe.

Maybe I’m just sympathetic to the human element behind game development. I want more folks to appreciate how the sauce gets made, but I know that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. They just want the games and that’s it. It’s fine.

I mean, I’ve seen worse. Some PC shows do this and have a dev go on for 20 minutes showing off the tech. It’s nice but could be something separate to your point. All I saw was devs grouping together to show off their passion. Trying to hype it up. I didn’t feel like it overstayed its welcome.

My problem is I’m getting distracted by the side quests. Obsessed with getting all the Lumina.
comment in response to post
Definitely depends on your tastes. I got a little bit of everything here between FF Tactics, Silent Hill F, Romeo is a Deadman, and that Marvel fighting game. Good stuff all around.

I have to disagree a bit. I enjoy when they break it up a bit to show the studio explaining their work. Shows the human side of game making. Maybe it’s because I’ve dabbled in game dev before and understand what the experience is like that I like seeing this.
