Voici la première photo de la galaxie d’Andromède réalisée en 1887 par l'astronome britannique Isaac Roberts. A l'époque il s'agissait de la grande nébuleuse d’Andromède, il fallut en effet attendre 1920 pour découvrir qu'elle était en réalité une galaxie.

Comme on le craignait, l'atterrisseur IM-2 s'est bien posé sur son flanc à la surface de la Lune. L'image est triste mais belle. Ses batteries sont déchargées et ne se rechargeront pas. La mission est déjà terminée, mais certaines expériences ont pu fonctionner quelques heures.

The first look at the Lunar surface from the Blue Ghost lander after its successful touchdown. I am guessing this camera is probably very dusty with sunlight falling on part of the lens, washing out much of the view. Here is my try at bringing out surface details in the useable part of the image.
