So many drafts trying to say where I'm at, so little ability to express it without getting into too much detail. Doing it poetically doesn't fit -- there's too much acceptance to dive into longing or blame, too much knowing it's both broken and not-broken, and it's just the way things are.

The nice thing about having gotten a new mattress is that I'm sleeping deeper than I have in over half a year. The less nice thing about sleeping more deeply is now I'm dreaming memorably just about every night, like there's a damn backlog of dreams I'm supposed to have or something.
