I don't really use TikTok that much, but I find it fascinating that our government is on the verge of banning an app for national security reasons that are still unclear in the same week that Meta, the largest social media company, says it's now fine to hate LGBTQ people and call us mentally ill.

One thing USA does better than most other countries is the library system. What a loss if libraries lose funding! Libraries in other countries rarely come close. They have some nice ones in major cities but in the US, we have them almost everywhere.

A good walkable neighborhood + library is my ideal place! I moved to a town where the library is too far for families to frequent often. I use Libby but if I had young kids, I ‘d want to go in person. But not in this town 😭
