Just me and my megaphone here to remind everybody that GERRYMANDERING IS REAL. When you dunk on the South, you are talking about racial minorities, LGBTQ, and children. There are folks here in the South facing immediate and real consequences for speaking out and protesting.

If you're feeling hopeless and miserable, I cannot possibly overstate how much it helps to just pick one thing you can do that helps people, and do it. You only need to do one person's worth of work. That's all any of us can do. You'll be doing what you can, and there is so much relief in that.

By “wasteful contracts” Elon means “things I don’t care about” — as people/the environment/kids/seniors get hurt so he can look like a hero to his base… even though these *savings* are a fart in a hurricane. As they slash trillions in taxes for the rich and spike the debt.
