The Epidemic Intelligence Service is run by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Nearly 1,300 of the EIS's health workers are being terminated. The EIS focuses on investigating disease outbreaks both domestically and internationally. This, at a time when measle cases are soaring! WTH??!!
