The siren song of the bully: "STOP HITTING YOURSELF!"

What point is that? "Reality has a well known liberal bias"?

The "taxation is theft" crowd loves them some logical fallacy. If your business plan is so weak that it will be "held back" by taxes, maybe you just have a poor business plan?

"Going Paperless" is a textbook example of "Greenwashing". It's nothing to do with climate, and all to do with profits. I'm not even sure it's about tech dependency: "You don't need no stinking paper billing (that cuts our profits by some fraction of percentage point)! Why to you hate the Earth?"

I blame Batman. Yeah, that's the ticket!
Seriously, name an action movie that does not in some way depend on the canard that cities are murderous hell holes? How many "Escape from my Rural Shithole" action movies are there? Full disclosure: I escaped my rural shithole. It wasn't scary at all!

"Night of the long wives" might be more fitting. How many have they got between them?

If you can overdose on schadenfreude, I'm sure there's a perfect German word to describe it.

"Move fast & break things" is breaking the law faster than it can be made to stop it, which polluters have deployed, well, since forever. Why the hell anyone thinks this started in SV is beyond me.

Oh, so work requirements are the order de jure, to force them to get "employer provided health insurance"? Riiiight.
There never has been a bigger set of marks, than the American voter. They will believe ANYTHING.

Josh Barro, an alleged "historian" who interned with Grover Norquist, whose Substack is literally called "Very Serious", is not a serious person. I suppose his next big idea(tm) is that Big Macs will cost $15, if minimum wage is raised to that?

Oh. DOH! AI energy demand and its effect on climate change, I guess I'm not awake yet...

"...& ensure it’s all correct." is doing a lot of lifting here. Looks to me you are assigning students the task of supervising a fake brain, instead of supervising their real brain. Was that the intent of your "AI & Climate" class?

Awesome! "Now that we've named it, can we please kill it?" seems like the Catholic thing to do?

Catholics call this "vincible ignorance." It's ignorance that an individual is responsible for, which could be dispelled by a reasonable effort at seeking the truth.

So the fair weather Democrat is again pissing on the Democratic Party?
Bernie, if you are pissing on the left (even it that left is to your right), you are pissing in the wrong direction. Do better or GTFO.

A REAL U.S. president would take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to kick the Putin dog while he is down, but we don't have a real U.S. president do we?
Thank you, President Zelensky, for your brilliant sabre diplomacy.

Who can imagine that annoying nails-on-a-blackboard voice, going "Who's a good boy?! Who's a good boy?! Why, YOU ARE!" while staring intently at his phone?

Agreed, other than their feral "cornered animal" street smarts. Miller also thinks he's going to punk and/or extort the entire legal profession with EO's? No too smart...

His "turn it up to 11" response to even softball questions is quite revealing in itself: he's at least smart enough to know when he's losing. And he's been popping off at reporters for months.
