Shane is an Albertan separatist who is mad he cannot get a family doctor but never once mentioned that is his province’s responsibility.

We are not upset, we are appalled that the CBC is working in the service of Trump by normalizing his insane and dangerous rhetoric. Romanticizing the idea of invasion by the US is terribly irresponsible of you. I am normally a big fan, but today I am ashamed of my CBC. Selling us out for ratings.

Does your current address match what Elections Canada would have on file for you?

Carbon tax does work. It just wasn't accepted by enough people because Conservatives poisoned the public with disinformation.
I chose to reduce my carbon footprint and was rewarded for it... but that ship has sailed. Now the second best climate action will have to do (per Mark Carney).

After successful Canada Post ID verification, I received a confirmation email from the LPC (2025 Liberal Leadership).

Did you complete the selfie scan plus scanning of driver's license and passport using the CP app? I completed the process successfully, but now when I go back to the app, it won't open. Maybe there are some overload issues that they are working on.

I’m struggling to get this done. I think I’ve done things in the wrong order? have an email confirming I’m a member.
I have verified my identity through the CP mobile app.
I don’t have a verification #. I send an email asking for one but no #
If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

I'm not complaining, but definitely curious.

I wonder why Gmail filters emails about the Ruby Dhalla campaign directly to my spam folder. Seems suspicious in terms of her legitimacy or who is promoting her. I didn't set up the filter, and no other candidate emails are flagged as spam. Anyone else have this happen?

It's a shame that many adopt a gluten-free diet when it isn't medically necessary. I suspect the trend is due to carbohydrate phobia, since 99% of us don't have celiac disease. We should consume the good carbs (whole grain foods) for their lower glycemic effect and higher nutrient and fibre content.

My ID verification is done. It's quite the process to ensure that votes for a new Liberal leader are legit. I can't imagine that many, if any, cheaters and vote riggers are willing to submit images and details from their driver's license and passport. Foiled again, hee hee hee.

It will be up to Carney to beat Poilievre in the federal election so that the guy who can't pass security clearance becomes powerless, obsolete and added to the CPC scrap heap of rejected leaders. #NeverPoilievre

In this case, CBC did the right thing and debunked the social media claims. Whatever political mis/disinformation is trending on SM every day, that is what our public broadcaster should be fact checking and correcting in a timely manner. That would be a great service to Canadians.

That was good for a snort-laugh. Trump is a jinx to sports teams. And where have we heard that "bring it home" phrase before? Poilievre and Trump must have the same RWNJ cliché book.

Yup, got my registered Liberal email last night and will complete the identity verification today. It's exciting!

My theory holds. The cheaters, liars, bullies and dunces from high school grew up to support Conservative policies and represent Conservative values. They were relatively harmless back when they were decentralized, but social media changed all that.

BTW, where’s that weasel Fife lately? He goes silent when it’s good times for the Libs and becomes a KKKonvoy horn when Cons are leading or he has a nothingburger scandal for Libs. And where are the daily polls? ELL OH ELL.

Defunding the CBC appeals to no one but Poilievre's hardcore base whose votes are guaranteed. On the other hand, it will cause him to lose lots of soft swing voters in eastern and atlantic Canada who were already holding their noses to vote for him. Straw, meet camel's back.

"Pierre Poilievre doesn’t know what it means to put Canada first or else he would choose to protect the Cdn institution that belongs to Cdns & exists for Cdns. CBC Radio-Canada will never belong to billionaire tech oligarchs like Musk or Zuckerberg, it will always belong to people of Canada."

I will add that an overarching theme of her proposals is that CBC is needed as a reliable source of info during a time when there is disinfo from other sources like Musk's platform. She acknowledges that if CBC is to be viewed a reliable source, they need to improve trust - hence the reforms.

The worst Poilievre fans were going to try, but most will think twice before uploading photo ID, plus there's no way to vote by registering their dog's name etc.
It has never been more obvious that all cheaters, liars, bullies or dunces from high school grew up to support Conservative politics.

The identity verification process for voting for a Liberal leader is one deterrent against bad faith voting. If I understand the rules correctly, illegitimate votes can also be disqualified and punished with a hefty fine.

Wow, Poilievre has upped his game from verb-the-noun to verb-the-adjective-noun slogans. That'll satisfy and fool more Canadians and bring in the votes (not).🤣
It's obvious that Canada needs Mark Carney's global economic experience not shallow and dishonest slogans.

I agree. Karina Gould has potential as a future leader, but the best Liberal leader and PM right now must have the most global economic experience and not be a target of Trump's pathological chauvinism. Mark Carney is therefore the best choice to handle Canada's serious and looming challenges.

The disinfo weaponized against PMJT couldn't be overcome, so he was headed for an election he couldn't win. Although he wanted to stay and fight, I'm glad he won't lose to a scumbag like Poilievre. With his winning streak intact, Justin will go on to a better, safer life and a highly praised legacy.
