I've got a mosquito allergy too. Can't get bit without getting absolutely massive welts that feel like they've got something solid underneath. Diphenhydramine is going to be your best friend.

IF I COULD PAY YOU BOTH I WOULD. Trust me the minute this game gains any sort of popularity, you're both getting a slice of the pie. None of it would be possible without y'all.

There will be donation incentives done via milestone. Still coming up with them but one of the ones we've settled on is I'm forced to make a terrible song in under 10 minutes on stream. That's right, my comedic suffering can be bought and sold. Anyway, no date yet, will update as things solidify!

No idea how much it will cost, hopefully less than the over 2k the first vet quoted me... so I'll almost definitely need help with costs still. To that end, I'm putting together a fundraising collab with @palebluespark.bsky.social, @rammyttv.bsky.social, and @astraenvt.com .

Update on Poppy: She's doing much better! Antibiotics and pain meds have made eating significantly less painful for her. She has a check up with another vet on Monday to see how she's healing and to evaluate her for which teeth need extracting, which I thankfully already have the money for on-hand.

...but I'm looking into taking her to a different vet that WON'T tack on bonus fees and will maybe be cheaper, so that's not the final price. Thankfully, all her meds and her visit today have already been paid for in full, but affording the next bit will be a doozy.

Last update for today: poppy and I are back home. She'll need a pretty extensive series of dental extractions. She got sent home with antibiotics, an appetite stimulator, and painkillers to take for the next week. Her dental extractions are being quoted for around $2800...

Another update

Update: vet is...sketchy. Confirmed she has dental issues that could absolutely be the cause of her not eating, and the vet ordered tests for giardia and FIV. There's NO chance Poppy has either of those since she's been an inside cat her entire life, and never been exposed to them. Ugh.

Well, we're at the vet now. So far they've weighed her and taken her temperature but besides being underweight from not eating for several days, nothing is out of place. Fingers crossed that whatever is going on is an easy fix.

Update: heading to the vet shortly. Poppy hasn't vomited since last night and is being affectionate and trying to hide less, but she's still not eating. Could be a dental issue.

I'm also willing to offer reduced rates for audio services if you'd like something in return. I'm open to mixing, production, and custom alert sounds. I'll keep updating this thread as I have more info on what's going on, and any related costs.

It's been a while since I've witnessed a food crime of this magnitude.

I can confirm this is not a threat, it's a promise.
