mg1 is less important since it has like. way less story/dialogue but there IS a plot twist in one of the later mgs games based on mg1 in a really crazy way

oh good!!!! yeah mgs actually straight up Quotes mg2 like constantly...plus mgs never actually properly explains big boss plan/ideology to new players so people who haven't seen his villain monologues in mg2 miss a lot of what characters are reacting to (or, in the prequel games, building up to)
