@mgreis.bsky.social hi Morten. I've written up one of my Vaesen campaigns that I'm aiming to put on DriveThru, which includes one of your vaesen. I'd love to send you a copy to see what you think?

While we welcome the announcement of the £270 million Arts Everywhere Fund, we are once again left wondering how these buildings will be filled with art, music, events and more if the workforce is not supported too. www.gov.uk/government/n... #FreelancersMakeTheatreWork

We wandered into a #Cthulhu scenario yesterday.

Hello fans and followers! Am undertaking a bit of a goal and fundraising effort for Macmillan, hugely supportive in my fight vs Cancer - if you do have any spare shekels and can sponsor me I'll do my best post Radio & Chemotherapy to yomp through Norfolk in May! www.justgiving.com/page/david-p...

This was excellent fun last night. Really like the way the dice pool system lets you think about *how* your character would handle this challenge… And the way the aesthetic & design are such an integral part of the play experience is brilliantly done. V nicely wrangled by our GM/Production, too :)

I’ve been lucky enough to mentor this lovely performance and exhibition project, Becoming British by Lora Krasteva. Coming to Birmingham this Friday (and next week) and Rotherham next month. www.lorakrasteva.com/becoming-bri...

I've set up an itch page for Buried Without Ceremony (including some community copies of each title)! If you're part of the itch community and love anything I've made, I'd love it if you left a comment or review. buriedwithoutceremony.itch.io

If anyone happens to need it this week for...reasons...this is the best graphic on the complexity of human sex determination I've ever seen. I use it in an undergrad course on gene regulatory mechanisms. Shoutout to @unamandita.bsky.social! www.scientificamerican.com/article/beyo...

Longcon is an absolutely lovely convention, and I'll be taking some lucky punters to Victorian London in June to battle the machinations of Grand Admiral Flagg in @gauntletrpg.bsky.social The Between. Join us!

Wow, this looks great, and strangely familiar… (I’d add early Gob Squad to the reference mix, too).

Today we launch the Youth Theatre Census report - a summary of everything we learnt from the Youth Theatre Census last summer. If you care about youth arts, it’s one of the most important things you’ll read this year. Download it here: bit.ly/youththeatrecensus Or read on for more.

Rob Fellman was 'archivist in residence' with Third Angel up until our closure in summer 2023. Really pleased that his thoughts on the way we used 'collecting and retelling' as making strategies have just been published as 'Collecting a Legacy' (free link): www.tandfonline.com/eprint/AVFBT...

About as succinct as it gets

An obituary worth reading: www.nytimes.com/2025/01/13/o...

Important thread on uk creative industries and govt approach to AI

I went to school between Rochdale and Oldham in the late 90s / early 2000’s. I was targeted by a grooming gang, not that I knew this at the time. They used to turn up outside my school, at my house, bus stops, parks, spray paint my name all over walls getting me dragged into the Headteachers office.

I love this…

Really looking forward to checking this out…

Don't buy anything from us today. It won't ship in time for the holidays and we're going to have a big sale later this week anyway. Instead if you're feeling generous this holiday season, kick some money over to The Trevor Project and support LGBTQ+ youth. give.thetrevorproject.org/campaign/645...

Still valid until midday Christmas Eve for Sheffield postcodes S6 and S10 (orders will be delivered afternoon/evening the same day)

I made this Pride flag using only NASA images and our team thought it would be cool to share on social (I work on the NASA heliophysics communications team), but it's getting all sorts of hate on the bird app and Fbook. Thought y'all might be more appreciative of it here. ☺️🏳️‍🌈💖
