Context: sending purchase events to Google Analytics. You are required to send over a unique transaction ID. Never could get that figured out. Tried again today, and was able to successfully get a custom javascript variable in Google Tag Manager to spit out a precise timestamp.

The other day, Jack the dog sat on the wireless keyboard that was lying on the couch while we were watching something on Disney+. His butt opened the code inspector. At the very top of the code is a quote by Walt Disney himself as an HTML comment. Visible to humans, ignored by web browsers.

The most successful businesses and entrepreneurs are relentless about being EXCELLENT, repeatedly. Look at McDonalds. A Big Mac is the same across the globe. That's the level of excellence you should strive for!

Productivity is tired directly to how effective leadership is at training the team, developing core competencies within the team, building scalable systems, making sure data is accurate, and ensuring there are processes for governance & accountability.

You don't have a lead problem OR a sales problem! Contrary to the "popular" beliefs being peddled by marketing and sales experts. What you actually have is a DISCIPLINE and FOCUS problem.

I intentionally live under a rock and only focus on the specific things important to me and my business. Otherwise I'd go mad.

I remember as a kid my buddy would keep his Nintendo turned on and shut off the TV. That is how we saved.

Remember Undercover CEO? That show where CEOs went on to the front lines of their businesses to learn EXACTLY what their employees are dealing with. Ever done that with your own automation? If you haven't lately now might be a good time to see exactly WHAT is being said, and HOW it is being said.

Teaching your team to be a LITTLE BIT more technically competent is the best investment you can make. They will get more work done, faster, and with better quality.
