Trump needs protestors who do exactly the wrong things. Unfortunately, the protesters have no leadership with enough substance to keep them in order. Without that, the protests will not be effective with public opinion.

I don't believe it.

I'd recommend @leifw.bsky.social forthcoming Language Machines strongly; going after LLMs from a version of cultstud that's closer to old-school structuralism meets cybernetics. Some spicy opinions about logical positivism and indeed the Gopnikist AI takes that I myself subscribe to, but good stuff

Then why isn't Bernie the President?

It won't lose the the politically informed folks who call out the problem and who are sympathetic to AOC's cause, but the headline is a way to lose normies and edge-case voters, and keep alive the ideology that buys into a "red menace."

Thank you, Mr. Tomlinson for your opinion piece. My first thought on hearing of the THC ban was “What about alcohol?” How is a stoned 22-year old walking in front of a train different than the many documented deaths owing to alcohol? Drunks driving & killing is a constant concern. So are guns.

And of course all the schools, colleges and universities teach Marxism—excuse me, “cultural Marxism”—and that’s why the vast majority of Americans are Left wing.

Texas is a nanny state. Their Lt. Governor is pushing through a bill, by all accounts it looks like it will be successful, to kill the hemp derived cannabinoids stores & industry in Texas. The industry adds $10 billion to the state’s economy & pays over $250 million in taxes. 1,000s of lost jobs.

My question, too. How did the police even know that this particular woman was A) intending to get an abortion and B) intending, if there were stops between her vehicle’s location and the state border, to drive on out of the state? How do police do this without blanket surveillance?

She is such an asshole, painting the audience member as deluded for pointing out how Ernst’s party’s *political* decisions will kill people.

If there were a “liberal media” beaming into all Americans homes/radios/screens this would probably sink the MAGA Murder Bill (Big Beautiful BS). Will NYT/WaPo/WSJ put A1 tmrw? Subscribe to @apnews.com + local outlets using our 50-state directory 👇 www.mediaanddemocracyproject.org/journalism-d...

Yep. Once Harris was the standard-bearer, I was all-in for her. Now we have absolute grifters in charge of our govt.
