It is going to be really bad. An animal shelter near there shared that the government warned its citizens to brace themselves. She said that the government usually downplays it to keep people calm. So telling them to brace themselves, means they know it is going to be really bad around Dnipro.

The Russian hacker collective NoName did indeed crash Belgian government sites yesterday. The VRT, the flemish news, has warned often about Russian meddling on different levels. They had an expose about the sabotage across Europe. Put together with journalists from different countries.

En toen zag ik onder dit bericht, een bericht over Krome Center in Miami. Plek voor 500 man, waar 4000 migranten zouden vast zitten. Berichten dat mensen sterven door honger en dorst, omdat ze de logistiek niet hebben om fatsoenlijk eten en drinken te voorzien.

Dit is allemaal zo overweldigend veel, dat je heel veel kleine verhalen niet meer te zien krijgt. De kleine verhalen die net harder aankomen omdat het een gezicht krijgt. Ik zag gisteren een video van een man wiens buur was "ontvoerd" door ICE, dat duidde voor mij het best de enorme impact.

In my Belgian village there is living proof that African American soldiers took part in the liberation. Funny anecdote, when the child was born, the grandmother started to cry wondering how her grandson would understand her as she didn't speak English.

I wonder if Israel sided with Russia as a precursor to attack Iran? It is what both Trump and Israel have been wanting to do for quite some time. Trump 1.0 got held back by the chiefs of staff, Israel by Biden. It wouldn't surprise me if Russia won't back Iran with their new allies.
