Speaking of body thief
He thought about that time Marius left him crying out in the rain. He cried again, realizing he couldn’t see how magnificent he looked crying dramatically in the rain

"why is lestat crying today?" #1
louis walked out of the bedroom for their night out wearing a floral patterned necktie. he looks beautiful. lestat cries. louis, nonplussed, says he's worn them before (see below), which reminds lestat he wasn't around for the paris years, so he cries harder.

idk if i’ll ever reach that level again, i was 27 and just coming out of living and breathing tap in boston. a lot has changed. here’s more of the level i’m at now, choreo by me, which im sure you’ve seen already :)

if u see a tap touring or local company performing in your area, i really suggest checking them out. the dance really is its own language. i’m lucky to have studied it for as long as i have through so many different voices.
happy tap dance day! ❤️

the fusion with Irish dance influences, vaudeville, and Hollywood led to the “Broadway” style we know today. it’s so important to know about this dance form’s roots in Black culture - as well its weaponization for racism and appropriation via minstrelsy and vaudeville in the 1800s and early 1900s.

an important fact that folks often don’t realize when they go see a broadway show is that tap is primarily a Black American art form. tap exists because of the rhythms and beats and dance culture the enslaved African population brought to the US. it’s also linked to American jazz music.
